Work for a top global investment bank in Tokyo

The Program Trading Technology team is responsible for building front-office technology applications for the Global Program Trading business, including Agency, Exchange Traded Funds, and the Quantitative Trading desks.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Designing, building and testing first-class applications for internal clients.
  • Project management
  • Application support where required
  • Business analysis

Experience/Skills

  • 5-8 years’ experience
  • Essential technical skills: Proven very strong skill in C++, Object-oriented design, Unix, client server application development, real-time, multi-threaded programming
  • Preferred additional technical skills: Java, PERL, CORBA/Orbix, Relational database, TIBCO Rendezvous
  • 3+ years’ financial services/equities trading technology experience
  • Highly motivated and driven to succeed. Able to work independently to overcome obstacles and produce results under pressure. Service-oriented mindset.
  • Strong analytical skills and generic problem-solving abilities are essential.
