Client Technology Team Leader - Tokyo
This role is a combination of hands-on development and business analysis. Team-lead a group of 5 staff providing application development and support for equity trading and e-commerce applications in Tokyo.
This role involves working closely with the traders and global development teams in order to make sure the business requirement is properly understood and in line with global strategy. Strong analysis and development experience in equity trading system is most preferred. It would ideally suit a strong technologist who has some management experience and wishes to grow further in that direction.
Main Duties
• Analysis, design and implementation of local solutions to trader requirements
• Co-ordination and joint development with global development team
• Provide day-to-day guidance and direction setting to team
• Set goals for team, assess progress, maintain detailed plans
• Deployment and configuration of in-house applications
• Gathering and prioritizing user requirements
• Co-ordination of the rollout of global systems to Tokyo
Main Duties
Provide analysis in support of business needs for exchange connectivity and core trading infrastructure. Team-lead, Set goals, targets, monitor progress and liaise with peer developers globally. Coordinate planning of roll out of global systems, provide feedback to global HQ on requirements for Japanese markets.
Applicants must have strong knowledge of exchange connectivity, FIX messaging, trading systems, C++, Java or C#, SQL, UNIX and W2K, Equity Markets experience.

• Fluency in English is a requirement & Japanese language skills are highly desirable
