Although this is an old message, can you tell me if you ever found anywhere that provided suitable training in the UK?

Macdonald Associates provides FIX training in the UK and continental
Europe. We sometimes run public courses, but also run dedicated
courses on the customer’s site. http://www.macd.com/fix.html

If you look at http://www.fixprotocol.org/members/ you will find Doherty IT Consultants, which provides FIX training.
Macdonald Associates provides FIX training in the UK and continental
