ttCONNECT v2.1 Brings Intelligence to Protocol Messaging
Industry Demands Enterprise-Class Flexibility, ttCONNECT Delivers
New York, NY – March 19, 2002 – Responding to industry demand for a customizable and intelligent protocol solution, TransactTools Inc., a thought leader in financial messaging and connectivity, today announced ttCONNECT v2.1.
ttCONNECT is an enterprise-class protocol engine that includes customizable business rules, an embedded XML-based FIX Data Dictionary, a client portal, and support for MQ Series messaging middleware.
“Because we rely on ttCONNECT to power the industry standard certification platforms OpenFIX and ttCERT, our engine has to be more intelligent and powerful than anything else out there. It’s the engine against which all others are tested,” said Sam Johnson founder and CEO of TransactTools.
Customizable business rules let users configure ttCONNECT to reflect their specific and unique business requirements. Because these rules are dynamically loaded into the engine, changes can be made on the fly without having to bring down the server or lose connectivity. So for example, if an institution sends its broker/dealer a FIX message with a field that broker doesn’t currently support, that information can be added while the engine’s up and live.
Embedded XML Data Dictionaries get new business trading partners up and running quickly by offering simultaneous support for an unlimited number of FIX versions and variations. This means that firms are always compliant and never have to download a new engine or wait for vendor support to catch up.
Reflecting a commitment to offer exceptional levels of client support, ttCONNECT’s client portal is a website where clients can download product documentation, communicate with other clients via message/discussion boards, access a product knowledgebase, and download both software and documentation updates.
