there are no plans to add this to the triggering instructions, just because nobody in the community has come up with such a use case and submitted a Gap Analysis. If I understand you correctly then you want to change the TimeInForce value of an order when it is triggered. Question is why you would not give the untriggered order this TimeInForce value right away? What effect does TimeInForce have as long as the order has not been triggered? Maybe you can elaborate a bit on the use case.

In FIX 5.0 EP-1, Trigger Instruction was introduced along with trigger related parameters. Would like to know if there are any plans to add a TriggerTimeInForce, or is that not expected. I know there is support for a TriggerOrderType (Tag 1111), but just want to be sure whether or not a Trigger TimeInForce is in the works or not.
Not something that is needed, just inquiring.
