6 June 2007 – UniCredit Markets & Investment Banking can now use Transaction Network Services’ (TNS) Secure Trading Extranet, to connect with the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
Connecting subsidiary company Bank Austria Creditanstalt with the Warsaw Stock Exchange, via TNS’ Secure Trading Extranet, will enable UniCredit Markets & Investment Banking to provide retail and institutional customers with direct market access to the emerging Polish capital market.

Poland is one of the region’s most promising emerging markets and the Warsaw Stock Exchange offers a wide range of financial instruments, including equities, bonds, investment certificates, futures and options. It lists the shares of 268 companies, with a domestic market capitalisation of almost 100 billion euros. The exchange joined the TNS Secure Trading Extranet last year.
