Folks;
The FIX Encryption working group meeting will take place on Thursday
September 17th beginning at 1:30PM and ending at 5:30 (please note the
30 minute shift in the meeting time!!) at Goldman Sachs’ offices at 125 Broad
Street in NYC. The meeting will be held in room “H” on the 19th floor.
I would like to thank Nick Seth-Smith of Goldman for hosting the meeting.
The high-level agenda to the meeting is as follows:

Introductions (1:30 - 1:40)

Review, modify and accept the high-level FIX security requirements. (1:40 - 2:10)
(These are posted on the web site so please review them before
the meeting on Thursday) -
Review the boundraries/scope of FIX within the flow of a transaction (2:10 - 2:30)

Brainstorm approaches to modifying the security of the current
FIX protocol to best meet the security requirements. Discuss pros
and cons of various approaches (2:30 - 5:15) -
Planning next steps (5:15 - 5:30)
