Major investment bank in Connecticut is seeking a Market Links Team Lead to head development and maintenance of electronic links to equities exchanges and liquidity sources. Candidate will involve management of a 2-3 person team. Duties will include develop, debug, and support infrastructure (server side) components for a high throughput, highly available, and scalable
execution system electronically connecting to multiple order sources and liquidity pools.
REQUIREMENTS:
- FIX knowledge - Working knowledge of the FIX protocol and practical issues surrounding it’s use
- HA systems development - Experience with automated failover, heartbeating, etc
- Java programming
- Experience with high performance persistence such as an RDBMS, flat files, or in-memory storage. Knowledge of Oracle 8i or
9I and 9i dataguard is best
