Financial technology firm is seeking a C++ Architect/Developer to join its The newly formed trading systems group to participate in designing and building infrastructure for the next generation trading system. The successful candidate will be involved in building scalable, robust infrastructure in C++, as well as building integration and management tools for MQ Series, FIX, and other system services. Additionally, the candidate will serve as a technical expert and consultant to other Trading Systems Programmers.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in a major technical role influencing development of significant pieces of software including both MQ Series and FIX
- Extensive experience building mission critical high performance OO software in C++ on UNIX
- Solid understanding of large-scale software architecture and development process
- Solid understanding of OOA/OOD techniques and modern design patterns
- Extensive C++ systems programming experience (Threads, Sockets, Real Time Programming etc.)
- Solid understanding of Computer Science/Software Engineering Fundamentals
- Experience in estimate, plan, and execute on technical infrastructure projects
