This is a question for FIXML users. How many of you have implementations that use the FIXML attribute name “Strk” in the Instrument block. We are trying to assess the impact of changing it to StrkPx. This is Tag 202 in FIX.

Niranjana,
We already use StrkPx here.

Hi Niranjana,
We also currently use Strk at a customer site for options trading. If it is changed to StrkPx we will have to redeploy the schemas and regenerate XSLT transforms and update the data dictionary in our FIX engine.

The Options Clearing Corp already uses the atrribute StrkPx, not Strk, in all of our messages (products, trades, post-trades, positions, etc.).
