Develop, debug, and support infrastructure (server-side) components for a high throughput, highly available, and scalable execution system electronically connecting to multiple order sources and liquidity pools.
Expertise in utilizing OO analysis techniques via patterns in actual development efforts. Must be fluent in sequence, collaboration, and deployment diagrams in UML notation. Must be capable of explaining solutions via these diagrams.
Expertise with interprocess communications using sockets, Tibco RV, or similar technologies. Experience must be greater than 3 years.
Requires excellent verbal and written communications skills. Must be able to explain concepts and ideas clearly and concisely to both business and development personnel.
Extensive development expertise in high-performance, multi-threaded programming (thread pools, mutex, critical segments, etc.). Experience must be greater than 4 years
Experience with some form of high performance persistence systems such as an RDBMS, flat files, or in-memory storage. Knowledge of Oracle 8i or 9I and 9i dataguard is best.
