Could you give some context? Doesn’t sound like this has something to do with FIX natively.
EOD is end of day?

In order to perform eod for any FIX sessions, we can turn EOD on/off or we can make Safe_eod.
How would this make different from normal Eod proceedure from FIX perspective.

@smitha this sounds like an end-of-day process feature of a specific application. It is not a process defined by FIX. Please reach out to the provider of the application/system to find out what is done differently when using a “safe” mode.
