What is the proper response to an Unsubscribe?

If a client unsubscribes to a SecurityList or a Market Data stream, what message is sent to acknowledge the unsubscription?

Robert, in keeping with FIX being an optimistic protocol - if the unsubscribe is successful there is no response. There is only a negative response which is inconsistently implemented across messages. At the request of the NDM and based upon a gap analysis they started we have a project to make behavior across queries (snapshots) and subscriptions consistent (as consistent as possible).
