Can anyone provide or point me to test data that is larger and more realistic than small fragments?
I am evaluating various encoding methods and need data that is representative of high volume message traffic that would be typical in FIXML applications.
This test data would also be used by the W3C EXI working group.
Thanks

The test data used in last years FAST proof-of-concept will be available for download on an on-request basis in the near future. Each file represents a full days worth of data for a given market data feed. We will post a notice to this forum when it is available.
However, the data is not in FIXML format and in fact FAST does not yet provide direct support for xml syntax. At this point it is necessary for an external process to parse the xml document and pass the data elements to the FAST API for encoding. The same is true for decoding.
In the future the Market Data Optimization Work group will look at providing an xml utility which can be used an extension of FAST.
