Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, Lehman Brothers, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley and UBS announced their intention to create BIDS as an alternative liquidity source for block trading.

Anyone heard of this one??? Any contact information for them?

BIDS is not fully up and running yet and believe they are now targetting a spring launch. The platform is being built by Alberta Market Solutions (http://www.albertasolutions.com/), so they may be able to provide additional info for you.
