Hello,
I am not sure whether Fixml can be used without extensions for the exchange between a financial agent and an funds company.
The funds- company shall transmit funds-offers (description and deposit conditions) to financial agent and the financial agent shall transmit customer orders (new deposit, buy or sell funds or change personal or bank data) to the funds company.
In case FIX is not the ideal standard for that, what other xml-based standards meet this better?
Thank you for your help!

Inga,
Your request sounds as though you may be interested in the work of the Mutual Funds (CIV) Working Group - we have been working on ways to extend the FIX protocol to cater for the needs of Mutual Fund companies and their agents and distributors. Why don’t you check out our page at http://www.fixprotocol.org/cgi-bin/Workgroup.cgi?id=951993568&menu=951993568 and see if it’s what you are looking for?
We are looking to incorporate these recommendations into FIX 4.3 which will be released (along with its FIXml 4.3 definitions) in August 2001.
