My client need to integrate with NYMEX’s clearpoint trade capture API.
I am looking for a good starting point for requirement gathering and design. Have any of you used the Clearpoint API?

You can start with NYMEX UTB API which has some examples of Java based thick client and HTTP solutions that parse XML trade capture report.
