20th August 2003 – FIX Protocol Ltd Europe have announced the dates of two European Seminars. The seminars will provide practical case studies into managing the changes in trading processes resulting from implementing FIX in the execution area, and at subsequent stages of the trading process.
The seminars have been designed for the buy-side and sell-side and for those experienced or new to FIX. The interactive format of presentations followed by roundtable discussions will allow delegates to take away practical knowledge and solutions on how to implement the FIX protocol, its use within the industry, and explain how FIX can change the working day.
Speakers, with extensive implementation experience, will give an update on the general status and use of v4.4, FIXML and current FPL workgroup initiatives. In addition, they will discuss the use of FIX for Fixed Income, Confirmations and Allocations, and discuss the trends, challenges and perceived future of execution destinations and accessing liquidity in the Europe market.
