FIX Protocol 'n FIXML schema objects

Imported from previous forum

Hi all,

Greetings.!!1

I’m very new to this field… I want some basic tips which will help me to get into this technology.

I want to know what we require from the hardware/Software side to install and run FIXML or related technologies.

I need a basic schema also to work on it…

TIA

regards

HI,

FIX is a specification, u can implement the engine in any software/language you want.

FIXML is a message format using FIX and XML.
If you look in the FIXML discussion group, you will find samples of FIX and FIXML messages.

FIXML messages can be read by any parser, or by using DOM or SAX which ever you are more comfortable with.

Hope this helps,

Regards,
Murali
