Our client has a new requirement for three individuals to assist on a 6 month engagement to migrate 160+ clients from a legacy FIX infrastructure to our new strategic FIX platform. The key skill requirements for this position are;
- Detailed knowledge of FIX protocol. Prior client setup/migration experience a definite plus.
- Demonstrable skills in communicating technical issues with business clients.
- 5+ years in IT, preferably in application support and or in development using essential technical skills
- FIX certification (desirable)
- Unix/Linux: including scripting (preferably Perl)
- Equities business experience (in particular cash Equities)
- Knowledge of Unix, Sybase, Microsoft Office, JSP
– Verbal communication and listening skills
