FIXML Mapping FMIA Art 39: Order Transmission

Hi Team,

For the FMIA Art 39 SIX and BX has introduced a new field to be reported: Order Transmission

Denotes an order transmission. In the event a securities dealer subject to the reporting obligation is transmitting an order to another securities dealer for execution, the securities dealer transmitting the order shall set the Order Transmission flag «Y» .

Can we use - FIXML/ExecRpt/Pty[@R=”1”]/Sub[@Typ=”81”]/@ID = “Y”

Since this FIX attribute (Sub Typ=81) seems to be linked to RTS 22, we have to make sure setting this attribute won’t cause any future incompatibility or misunderstanding as we plan to use for FMIA Art.39 transaction reporting purposes.

The requirements for RTS 22 have been covered by EP232 (https://www.fixtrading.org/packages/ep232/). Please see Chapter 2 Business Requirements, Table 1: RTS 22 Annex I Table 2 Data Elements, No. 25 on page 15/16.

The FMIA documentation for the Reporting Agent (https://www.six-group.com/dam/download/sites/education/preparatory-documentation/reporting-agent-module/module-reporting-agent-en.pdf) states in section 6.9.1:

The format of the Transaction Report must comply in full with either the Swiss format, as defined in FINMA Circular 2018/2, or with RTS 22.
