January 6, 2006 ¡V FIX Protocol Ltd. (FPL) announces FPL Canadian Electronic Trading Conference 2006 to be held on May 31, 2006 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The full day event will include breakout sessions for business and technology streams.
The purpose of this event is to give Canadian users and potential users of electronic trading and FIX the opportunity to collaborate, learn and strategize by joining industry colleagues to explore how electronic trading and FIX facilitates the total trade lifecycle. This will be achieved by Canadian electronic trading leaders and FIX users sharing experiences and also gaining insights from U.S. and international electronic trading and FIX leaders.
The conference in 2005 had 350 investment and securities industry professionals attend to hear about the latest worldwide and Canadian solutions, best practices and future plans from over 40 Canadian, US and international electronic trading leaders and to meet with representatives from 30 exhibiting/sponsoring solution providers.
