We have a great new role open in Hong Kong with a top investment bank:

Team Leader for Development and Support of Automated Market Making system

Education
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in computer science(or its equivalent Physics, Math, Eng.)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

*At least 5 years of programming experience in Visual C++ developing mutli-threaded real-time systems

  • Unix C++ experience well regarded
  • ATL/COM
  • Considerable knowledge in computer networks and experience in network programming (TCP/IP, etc)
  • Financial industry experience an added advantage - especially any derivative experience

Core soft skills

  • The ability to work independently under pressure and deliver results without close supervision
  • The initiative and drive to succeed in a demanding environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong commitment to teamwork
  • Strong interpersonal skills dealing with traders
  • Strong ability to mentor junior developers

Environment

  • Listed Options Market Making
  • Merchant bank
  • Trading/Dealing environment
  • Equity/Equity Derivatives
  • Small team delivering automated trading technology (3 in total)

Location

  • Hong Kong

Salary

  • Negotiable and includes bonus component
