Join FPL in Paris on June 19th and Explore the Evolving European Market Infrastructure

Imported from previous forum

We invite you to join FPL next Tuesday in Paris for an evening of education and networking at the FPL EMEA Regional Meeting, kindly hosted by NYSE Technologies.

The event will explore the continued dramatic changes taking place in the trading landscape. Led by a panel of expert speakers the further changes expected in this area, arising from factors including the evolving exchanges environment and changes in European regulation, will be debated. Questions for discussion will include:
• What will the strategies of exchanges be going forward? Will they move back to silo structures or open up to interoperability?
• Has the introduction of interoperability delivered cost savings and changed broker behaviour?
• What is the likely impact of EMIR and MiFID II on market infrastructure in Europe?
• What is the likely impact of the proposed Financial Transaction Tax (FTT) on the French markets?

Speakers will include:
• Stuart Adams, EMEA Regional Director, FIX Protocol Ltd.
• Hugh Brown, Director of UK Markets, EMCF N.V.
• Philippe Guillot, Executive Director, Markets Directorate, Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF)
• Philippe Tastevin, Director, Corporate Strategy, NYSE Euronext
