More than 1 Message for 1 Order

Hi All,

  1. Let’s say the buy-side has allocated an order (Say OrderX) into 2 Accounts (AccX & AccY).
    In an ideal world, it would be 1 FIX Allocation Message with 2 Account Detail Blocks. But

In my case, due to various reasons I am not able to generate 1 Fix Allocation Message Per Order. Rather I am generating 2 FIX allocation Message for the same order. 1st message will carry AccX details and the 2nd message carries AccY details.
Is this acceptable? Are implementations by sell-sides bound to break?

That seems odd and inconsistent with the FIX Allocation messaage which contains the block and its splits. I think you will likely run into issues with your sellside firms supporting and understanding that approach.
