Where can we find out more info regarding FPL’s proposal to support mutiple fix versions through a single session? For example, sending FIX 4.4 tags though FIX 4.0. We are intested in learning when this will be be rolled out and what changes it will require.
Thanks,
Bill

An outline of the GTC’s proposal for service pack support can be found at the following public link on the GTC page. The intent of this proposal is to provide support for new functionality being introduced to FIX, use of multiple versions of FIX application messages within a session, and ultimately transport independence in which FIX application messages can be used apart from the session layer in a prescribed manner. We would be interested in you feedback. Note that inter-version use is supported at the message level, not the tag level. Thanks
