Obtain Position Size

Hello,

New FIX user here, looking for a way to know the combined position for any given equity. After placing multiple orders it can get hard to calculate my exposure to a currency (in case FOREX) so is there a way to query the server and receive a report of my current exposure to the market of any symbol?

Any help highly appreciated.

I’ve managed to locate the PositionReport message in the FIX.4.4 documentation, and I presume this is the message for the purpose.

Bu what about FIX 4.3 and below that, is there a way to do it?
