Anyone wanting to enhance FIXML, can do so through an online tool at the following URL:
If you do not have a UserID and Password, first register at http://www.innovision.com/openbox/Registration.html
and then retry the above link. You’ll initially just have read access to the DTDs. If you’re interested in enhancing the DTDs, send an e-mail to bill.cary@innovision.com and request access. I’ll respond within a few hours. Once you have write access, you can edit (and change) the DTDs and rebuild the FIXML PSOM. Even if you don’t want to use the FIXML PSOM, this process will ensure you have correct DTDs.
If the above URL is unreadable, start here
http://www.innovision.com/openbox/
and follow the FIXML link near the bottom of the page.
A PSOM is a self-contained Java object model that is generated from Schema/DTD information. The last thing the above tool does (given valid Schema/DTD information) is to generate a downloadable FIXML PSOM for experimental development.
