I was looking for the FIXML 4.2 XSD schema and was pointed to the OrchestraFIX repository. Is the XSD schema no longer available?

The FIXML Schema was introduced with FIX 4.4. Prior to that, there were only FIXML DTDs. You can use the FIXML Schema from FIX Latest or what is the reason you want to limit it to a legacy version?
Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, the 4.2 is used by a legacy system that we need to connect to.
Regarding Schema for 4.4, where can I find the XSD? I was only able to locate the Latest.
The GTC will look into this, it should be available on the FIX 4.4 download page.
Thank you very much. The 4.4 XSD is indeed available there. I was confused because I couldn’t find the 4.2 one on the download page, but now I understand why. I assume there are no plans for providing the 4.2 XSD?
The FIX 4.4. Schema was made available today, direct link is here. FIX 4.2 only supported FIXML DTD (Document Type Definition) and only as a pilot. What is the use case (asset class, user group, workflows) for using FIXML as encoding for FIX 4.2?
