Would it be correct to use the HandlInst (21) field to allow an institution to specify public versus private execution?
I want to allow a counterparty the option of identifying itself in a trade. Would HandlInst=1 for private and HandlInst=2 for public be the proper way to do this?
Thanks

Or maybe PreTradeAnonymity (1091) would be better?
I think HandlInst (21) is primarily for automated (DMA) versus manual execution instruction to the Sell side. If explicit Anonymity versus Disclosure is required, its better to use PreTradeAnonymity (1091).
