Hello,

did somebody face with orders in ‘accept for bidding’(39 = ‘D’) state?
What exactly does this state mean? Is it correct to understand that right after New Order Single (MsgType = ‘D’) will be sent it is possible to receive Execution Report (MsgType = ‘8’) with 150 = ‘D’ and 39 = ‘D’ (accept for bidding)? To which other states can order move from ‘accept for bidding’ state?

Which FIX version is it? From my understanding, 39=D and 150=D means drastically different things. I personally never encountered 39=D other than a one-line description from 4.2 spec. But 150=D (so-called restatement) can be used to convey an unsolicited cxl/replace action. tag378 can be used for restatement reason.

It’s best for you to read your counterparty’s FIX spec or directly talk to them for an explanation. FIX communication is all about mutual agreement.
