I have posted to the Encryption working group archive the latest version (0.6.4a) of Poppy, an open-source SSL FIX proxy.

Poppy was written by Hugh Emberson of Westpac Banking Corporation. It links to the OpenSSL library to do the SSL data encryption.

This seems like a good start for investigations and pilots with SSL.

I would just like to point out that I actually work for Software Gems (a small consulting company) employed by Westpac. I wrote poppy for Westpac and they graciously agreed to release it as open source.

Hi, everyone,

Can someone please let me know the www site/links
for downloading the Poppy SSL FIX Proxy?

Assuming it support SSL 3.0. True?

Is it fair to say that if a SSL FIX Proxy is used,
there is no need to encrypt the data using such as,
PGP/DES/MD5, again?
