Dear group,
we would like to hear about products able to transform custom-formatted MQ messages into FIX. I presume the answer is to acquire a FIX engine having this feature, but, is there something simpler?
Currently, one of our origins of trades sends its requests to an in-house app. These requests are MQ messages lacking an industry standard formatting. The app (which acts moreoless as a FIX engine) then sends FIX messages to the market (equities). We plan to get rid of this in-house app with minimal changes to the originator of the MQ messages. Thus the need of a product able to understand our formatting, convert into FIX format and feed the new FIX engine.
Thanks in advance,
Mariano
Hi Mariano,
We have a product that does that - we develop the mapping from the in-house format to FIX. Most of our customers for this are European based (for example Erste Bank in Vienna or KBL in Luxembourg), so depending on where you are based you may want to look for a local provider.
Here is a list of FIX applications:

Would be happy to discuss if I can be of help.

Dear Mariano, we have a suitable Transformation product that seems to meet your requirement.
Your in-house format can be defined as a library (by you or by us) and we already have FIX libraries as standard.
Our product, Transformer, will then allow you to easily define the mapping between the two libraries.
The resulting project can be deployed in any technology environment you wish as a ‘jar’ file.
You can see a brochure and get more information at the following link
