QuickFIX Logon Problem

hello,
I am facing a problem related to Logon. Once i log out manually using logout() method, i cannot log on again. I tried logon() method. Also tried sending a Logon message, But there is no response from the server.
But at the reconnect interval which is defined in the .CFG file, the client logon to the server, and the server responses back.

I am using Quick Fix 4.2 . Please tell me what is the problem. How to log back in once logged out. I have checked the client server session, it still exists.
