Hi All,

Could someone tell me what us the difference between Quote Type and Quote Type Reqyest, Security Status and Security Status request.

Did you mean fields or messages? Did you mean Quote Type or Security Type? Assuming the latter in both cases, it is the following:

Message XXXRequest allows you to ask for security types and status whereas XXX is the response to this request.

Have a look at FIX 5.0 SP1 Volume 3 pages 116-118 and 147-150.
