Concerning the QuoteRejectReason (300) field-
I suspect that values 3=Order exceeds limit, 5=Unknown Order and 6=Duplicate Order should read Quote (Request) exceeds limit, Unknown Quote (Request) and Duplicate Quote (Request) since the rejection most likely refers to quotes and quote requests rather than orders. Is this just a typo as a result of copy/pasting from the similar OrdRejReason field?

This was done intentionally - but in retrospect may not have been a good idea. The goal was to be as consistent as possible with the enumerations of quote reject reasons and order reject reasons.
We should probably modify it in the errata document for FIX 4.2 - having the term "Order" as part of the reason for a quote reject invites confusion.

Just to be clear:
Does this mean that error code 5 (Unknown) should be used if, for example, a quote is submitted referring to an unknown QuoteReqID? And that error code 6 (Duplicate) should be used if, for example, a quote or quote request is submitted with a non unique QuoteID or QuoteReqID?
