As part of my university project I was looking at analysing the initial requirements of the FIX Protocol primarily from a Security viewpoint. I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find the original Scenarios and Requirements that were drawn up when the protocol was designed. I am using FIX as a case study based on the following Phd thesis http://www.cs.york.ac.uk/ftpdir/reports/YCST-2003-01.pdf. The details of my supervisor are as follows, Dr. Jeremy Jacob http://www-users.cs.york.ac.uk/~jeremy/. Any information regarding the original requirements and Scenarios of possible use would be greatly appreciated.
