In FIX 4.2 specification, I cannot get the image of Quote Status Request scenario.
What message should be sent back in response to Quote Status Request?
There is a description in FIX 4.2 spec(Quote Status Request) that Symbol is mandatory but QuoteID is optional to be specified.
Is it better to use Symbol than QuoteID to specify the Quote in order to know the Quote Status ?
Any comments or advises will be very much appreciated.
