A Leading investment bank are looking for an experienced FIX developer with strong ‘OO’ C++ on Unix.
This is a technical lead role concentrating on Client Connectivity for the electronic trading of multiple instrument types and product offerings globally. This project supports the business in a changing environment as clients and markets increase levels of automation. This project is viewed as critical to our business, by the business. This role will require a person who needs minimal guidance, is able to form relationships with others both on the business side and within IT, in a capacity as a technical expert and technical point of contact in the European region.
The candidate will be responsible for management, development, and implementation of solutions within region, as well as driving global policies / best practices.
Essential skills are:
„h Strong multi-threading skills and knowledge inter-process communications required.
„h Strong C++ skills
„h Experience with FIX or cash equities systems
„h Strong Object Oriented design & development skills
„h Strong UNIX / LINUX experience required
