22. A “Short Sale Reason” is currently private tagged in the draft spec. NASD believes that this should be represented as a public tag in version 4.4. Valid values for this field are:
‘Z’ – Dealer Sold Short
‘E’ – Dealer Sold Short Exempt
‘C’ – Selling Customer Sold Short
‘K’ – Selling Customer Sold Short Exempt
‘P’ – QSR or AGU Contra Side Sold Short
‘A’ – QSR or AGU Contra Side Sold Short Exempt
