Senior Software Development
Location:NYC
Candidate will work with a team of senior level software developers to design, develop, implement, maintain and update proprietary financial trading software for real-time deployment across global financial marketing. The candidate’s main responsibility will be to build highly efficient infrastructure, messaging system and design API for application developers. The candidate will utilize the C++/Java/C# computer languages, computer network protocols and algorithms techniques, and the integration of mathematical engineering software to create computer programs in highly portable, object oriented code. This position requires high level of knowledge in computer networks and operating systems. With teammates, the candidate will work towards and structure of a linked international network of high-end computer workstations servers to support the implementation of real-time trading and financial analysis around the world.
Requirements:
At least 7 years total experience and at least 4+ years in each of the following:
•Operating Systems: MS Windows/NT, UNIX (Solaris, Linux)
•Languages: C++ (Java, C# is a plus)
•Protocol Design and implementation: TCP/IP, Winsock, TIBCO, JMS, SNMP
•System Design and implementation: Real Time Systems, Distributed Systems, Trading System
•Finance Knowledge: Options or Equity market, market data distribution
•Software Architecture: UML, RUP
