The acceptor dose not response initiator's ResetSeqNum logon message

Hi,I have a question about ResetSeqNum,if this is a new trade day,I am an initiator,I send a logon message with SeqNum=1 and set ResetSeqNumFlag to “Y” to the acceptor,but the acceptor does not response a logon message for some reasons,in this situation,should I use the next new resetseqnum(e.g send message with seqnum=2),or I have to resend the the first message for that the acceptor has not confirm my reset seqnum logon message?

In this situation,manual intervention should be taken and connection shoule be shut down?
