Can anyone tell me what tag qualifiers are needed to send a day plus order.
Also what value is entered on Tag 59 for day plus orders.
Thanks,
Sayeed.

This is a good question. FIX does not mention this particular TIF. From experience, some exchanges like the ECNs will use a valid FIX field with a custom value(s) and BOX (the latest options exchange) does exactly this. i.e. 40=P.

I agree. Another example is the Archipelago Exchange, whose “day plus” order really means live for early, core and late sessions. They do this using the TradingSession fields defined in FIX 4.2. You’d set 386 (NoTradingSessions) to 3, then set 336 (TradingSessionID) three times, to P1, P2 and P3.
