Unix C++ Software Developer, Hong Kong
The role of C++ Developer is within the Hong Kong development team. The Hong Kong development team designs and develops components of our real time financial trading applications for use in the Asian financial markets.
You will work in a small team designing and developing core components in C++ on the Sun Solaris operating system and integrating these components into our full product suite. The role will also include close liaison with our support team and members of our global development teams.
Candidates for this position require:
A good Bachelor’s degree in a computing related discipline
At least 2 years solid experience of C++ software development on a Unix platform
Experience of one or more relational databases
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Experience of Asian exchange connectivity and Asian exchange regulations
Fluent English and the ability to communicate accurately in both spoken and written English
Initiative and the ability to work unsupervised
