Hi there,

For unsolocited cancel, is it right that we put 150=4? Since according to the FIX 4.2 spec, tag 150=D is need for unsolocited cancel.

Even i am also facing same problem.when i do unsolocited modification other side i mean bloomberg is not accepting the modification.it is sending DK reason Problem: Unsupported ExecType (Tag 150).
what to do for this kind of problem …

Hi there,

In FIX 4.2, 150 = 4 is indeed unsolicited cancelled, but watch your client order ids as you are not generating a new one …

150 = D is for an unsolicited amendment.

In both cases 378 = 2 is common.

To add more on andrew’s point for Unsolicited CANCEL/AMEND with tag 150 we need to also verify Solicited Flag(Tag 377)which should be N.

for equities you need to use 150=5 for unsolicited replaces for Bloomberg EOR, for futures and options 150=D is allowed for unsolicited replaces but 378 is then conditionally required (allowed enum 1-5)
