Hi…

I’m new in FIX Protocol and I’d like a help to answer two questions:

Q1 - What kind of validation FIX Engine is not supposed to do?

Q2 – Which tag is used in FIX Protocol to denote an order is for equity or for future options?

I research a lot but i didn’t found any answer for these questions.

Your Q1 is a bit vague, a lot of validations are done on FIX Engine, can you give some sample which you think are not supposed to be done?

Q2, tag 167 (167=CS / 167=FUT / 167= OPT … )
