Hi,
Can anyone tell me if there is a field in FIX 4.2 or 4.3 that can be used to publish trade bargain conditions we have been agreed with a client?
I.e. ‘SP’ for Special Price, or ‘SS’ = for Special Settlement

Take a look at the Stipulations block 232, 233, 234 to see if they serve. These fields were added to support Fixed Income in 4.3 and will be expanded in 4.4 with many more published values - see the FIWG Gap Analysis document on the Fixed Income Working Group page. You may add other types and values by mutual agreement of the couterparties, but please forward them to the Tech Committee so we can work them into the main stream.

We can make use of the Stipulations fields (232, 233 and 234) to identify the number of occurrences, type and codes passed.
We’ll need to add a new Stipulation type ‘Bargain Conditions’ and include the Stipulation component block in the Trade Capture Report message.
Does anyone know why the Stipulation component block is not in the Treats Capture Report in FIX 4.3?

Raj,
I think Stips weren’t included in TradeCapture because both were new with release 4.3 and were introduced independently.
What I suggest for your implementation is to put your Bargain Condition in StipType (233) and to reserve StipValue (234) for any qualifier you might need.
232=2
233=SPCLPX 235=ONLINETRADE
233=SPCLSETTL 234=SUNDAY
