Parag,
To implement Tag#117, go through the following MessageTypes in FIX4.2

  1. R Quote Request (some Market Places this is necessary).
  2. S Quote
  3. i (lower case) Mass Quote
  4. Z Quote Cancel
  5. a (lower case) Quote Status Request
  6. b (lower case) Quote Acknowledgement

The QuoteId (Tag#117) of MessageType S or i, can be referred in NewOrderSingle.
