Hi,

I would like to know following details :

  1. What is fix protocol ?
  2. Why and where is it used ?
  3. What is the advantage of using fix protocol.
  4. The latest version of fix and its details .

Please advice how should I learn it right from start . Is there any user guide or beginners guide for FIX ?

Well, you made it to www.fixprotocol.org, so that’s a good start.

Look at the specifications section of the site. You’ll see that version 4.4 is the latest. Download the spec and have a read through volume 1. That should answer all your questions.
