The FIX Global Technical Committee has recently issued a call for participation for its new Orchestra Subcommittee.
This subcommittee will be deciding upon the creation of several working groups to address specific topics such as the following:
- Technical specification of Orchestra Version 1.1
- Mapping schema to translate between two Orchestra XML files
- Maintenance of Orchestra tools developed by FIX (e.g. Log2Orchestra, Playlist)
- Maintenance of open-source Orchestra tools (e.g. Tablature, Orchestra to QuickFIX converter, Repository Validator)
If you are a FIX member and interested in Orchestra, then please register here.
There will subsequently be the possibility to register for one or more of these working groups. The working groups have pre-defined deliverables and will be looking for volunteers that can spend time and effort towards the objectives.
Members of the Orchestra Subcommittee will be informed from time to time about the progress made in these working groups and decide upon submission of documents to the FIX Global Technical Committee for review and approval.
